Certainly not what I thought you were looking for Mine were tin just slightly smaller in diameter than the inside of the wheel.
You placed them onto the wheel studs before you fitted the wheel,I suspect it was Nick Standley,
Reg B 567 TUB (Leeds)
Antelope Metallic (AFM 322)That’s certainly Nick’s area North Yorkshire.
Hi Laurence
I had them on my X300 as standard they certainly seemed to as when I used to remove the wheels for cleaning they were certainly fun of dust Never heard of them on the Jaguars. That was short lived Vin 148454 is currently for sale on E Bay.for $11,500
Well spotted Steve good job someone is keeping a check.
One of our members has one for sale Bargain at £1000.00 probably used twice– The problem is they are very fragile for transportation / Shipping. Also one of our members in Rome requires one but how do we get it to him any ideas?
By the way the Blue one on E Bay item number 311756920205 Has been on and off e bay for a long time.Hi Ian that looks pretty realistic nearest to your #5062 and #5047
Many thanks
BleasieHi Dave
I thought flushing oil went out with the ARK certainly I have never used it since the 60’s.
Regular oil changes are all thats required,
But to answer your question way back when flushing oil was used we just drained off the existing oil topped up with flushing oil ran it until the oil was hot, drain fit new filter top up with correct engine oil.
Would be interested to know if any one still does it.PS I must say if you don’t know what a sump plug is you should not be messing about with the the cars mechanics.
Hi Mark Rocking Horses spring to mind.
I suspect I may have sold the last one in existence a few months ago still in its British Leyland box having had it in
my desk drawer since 1986 I decided to get rid could have sold it 10 times over.
Just keep looking damaged ones bring £100.00Well Jon you know what they say you learn something every day.
Firstly nice to see things back to normal on the home page, well done,
This now working ok I did think I was cracking up when most had a date added last night when I working on it.Cheers John no Albert never did get round to supplying it suspect it will be around 4000
Hi Kevin & Sue & welcome to the earliest remaining Cabriolet.
Seems to be working sort of now shows 67 at the top of both pages which is 134.
Not sure what you have done but navigation round the site was much easier a couple of days ago.Hi Laurence
When you go to list of members it shows 127 but now if you click 1st it show 60+
it leaves out all the ones without a date I have tried numerous times can’t get it to show the full list last firstCheers Laurence
I have in the past tried all along the row and that one never did anything. However it has brought a Mike Gregson Vin 119411 which you will know is not a Cabriolet?
I have asked him to re check.
Bill Hudd has a new cabbie by the wayHI Mike
The VIN you have supplied is not a Jaguar built Cabriolet’s VIN, which might mean it is a Coupe conversion.Could you re-check please in case it is a typo.
Regards Bleasie
Hi Larry sorry for the delay in saying hello. But the system does not let me know when an owner signs up, even more annoying is that not only are you a new Member but you have a new Cabriolet to the Register which means your Cabriolet has been seen previously.
Please post some photographs.
Regards
Bleasie.Hi Mark
Doncaster just up the road which one have you bought we need your Vin please.Hi Richard
Yes it is John but every one calls me Bleasie Will check the Data Base for your third XJ-SC and see if I have any data. OK now have your name and location added to all three. Vin 114426 at some point in time I must have made contact with a previous owner who supplied the Elusive number which in your case is 0172— So if you can supply the other two that would be great.
Just to remind you Rain Gutter of boot LHSide about 6 inches back from rear light cluster. Lots of history on this one back to 2012. -
