Laurence JonesKeymasterHi John May @rujamajoco
Your Cabriolet is a lovely green
If I do keep and restore the V12 Cabriolet I acquired last year then I think I’ll respray it that shade of green rather than the lighter green it currently is
Try and keep 22nd April free, as we have a Club meet up planned in Gerrards Cross – which hopefully isn’t too far for you to make.

Laurence JonesKeymaster- Our final visit of the day was The Funicular Lift of Strepy-Thieu.
this is one of the largest boat lifts in the world. Similar sized water filled cradles to those used in the Sloping lock are lowered or raised over 240feet / 73 metres. Building was completed in 2002 at which time it was the tallest in the world.

Short instruction – just click on Visual (just over to the right of the Text Area (looks like a filing cabinet folder tab). Then click on the little camera icon (to the right of the little smile in a circle), then follow instructions as you see them.

Laurence JonesKeymasterPaul Roper mentioned this recently on Facebook, so I think I might try and watch it before we head over to the Isle of Man in May 2018.
I’m just putting the final touches to the Club Tour Newsletter which I’ll send out in the next couple of days 🙂

Maybe Robin @woodsmoke or Stephen Heywood @stephen-heywood will be able to offer you some advice, or certainly to point you in the right direction.
Do you still have your XJ-SC Cabriolet – is that a different Ignition system.
Cheers,
Laurence
Laurence JonesKeymasterHi Roger @roger ,
Thanks for sharing your news.
Im sure lots members will be interested in hearing more about the LPG conversion. I’d like tonneau to, though to be honest the car that might benefit it most (my V12 XJS Convertible) is the one I can’t do it to, as we take it to Europe through the Tunnel – LPG is banned on Eurotunnel.
Please do let me have an article about the veneer restoration – membership@xjs-soft-tops.com and I’ll publish it for everyone to read.
