Well the exact production number for 1987 V12 LHD I did not find. Most of them probably were US-versions?

Thank you for letting me in. =)

I suppose I am already sort of a collector of interesting cars. I have several Cadillacs from 80’s and 90’s, and a 89 Club Wagon in my “collection” and I have driven Jaguar X350 XJR as a daily driver for bout three years now. I had a Chrysler convertible for a few years but I sold that this spring, and was sort of lacking a soft-top. I have been looking for a Jaguar soft-top, but was pretty sure I would not find one to buy in Finland.

A local classic cars dealer hinted me about this particular Jaguar XJ-SC V12 1987 during the summer, and I went to see and test it. I did make an offer then, but it did not go through. A couple of weeks ago I asked about it again, and it was still unsold – it was never on public sale so I was not surprised. I ended up making an offer that did go through, and the car was delivered on Friday 13th of December. Oh dear.. =D

It has a superb paint job, it is rust-free, and it has local mot until June 2020. There are some issues with electrics, ac, and the interior needs some work. It is US-export model, has 80000 miles on the odometer, but no recorded history available I am afraid.

I was looking for specs and manufacturing numbers when I found this site.
