Hi Ray welcome to the Group

Your profile says you have a Cabriolet, however the VIN you have supplied is not that of a Cabriolet.

Can you confirm if the VIN is that you have an XJ-SC or a Convertible.

      Regards

      Bleasie.

Hi and thank you. Yes it is a US 1988 XJ-SC. I think they may have sold them a year or too longer in the US than in Europe. Full VIN is SAJNA3844JC145443. This is my 1st Jaguar and I don’t know that much about them. I look forward to learning a lot more. You can see car details at this link for the Bringatrailer auction. http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1988-jaguar-xjs-3/

Shortly I will be taking it to a specialist to sort out the deferred maintenance. Any suggestions are welcome.

      Thanks,
      Ray
