      Hi,

Mine is an 1994 XJS C, so not exactly same as yours.

I made this job by my own, in fact it’s not so complicate, just time consuming!!!!!

I presume that the soft top of mine is a little bit more complex than the first serie.

In all cases, Jaguar products are well build, with patience and application, you can do it yourself.

      Hi Jean,

      thank you for your suggestion.

It would be hard for me considering that my car has 2 hard tops plus a soft top and even professions are reluctant to do the job.

more than this I don’t have the age for such an challenge !!!

      All the best

      Hi Marcel,

I fully understand your point of view.

I know some guys able to do it but it’s close to my home or around.

North of France or close to Mons in Belgium

May be to far from your location.

As to have a better idea of price, parts are available on some sites.

Manpower cost is around cost of furniture.

      All the best.

      Jean

      Hi Marcel,

No problem, I think finding a good saddler doesn’t have to be complicated.

Don’t hesitate to ask to see their work
Please send me some photos of your car.
      I’ll send you mine.
I’ve just been working on the car’s leathers, and they’ve regained their splendor.

      I wish you the best

      Hi Jean,

Thank you again for your suggestions,

hopefully I found somebody near me to do the job.

I have agree to bring the car in October so that I can enjoy the summertime and then do the job in winter.

      I hope it will work.

      kindest regards

      Marcel
