  Thank you for your kind welcome.
  
  I am very pleased to be a member of this forum and hope to both learn from and contribute to all matters XJ-SC.
  
  I found Soft Top Club via a random internet search. Also, being a member of the JEC with another Jaguar (F-Type V6S) in my stable, I feel at home. When they were brand-new I owned in succession a 1985 5.3 V12 coupe, followed by a 1989 5.3 V12 convertible. My second car ever owned was a 1956 wire-wheeled Mk 1 3.4 saloon, (à la Mike Hawthorn!) but that was a long time ago! Wish I still owned that!
