Under Bonnet Installation

I need to replace the under bonnet installation on my 1992 4l XJS Convertible, as the old one is well past its best.

I’ve seen SNG Barratt advertise a generic kit, and was wondering if anyone had fitted this to their cars ?

Also, I’ve seen foam replacements discussed online, like the one in the picture complete with Jaguar logo, and wanted to know if anyone had any experience with these options.

      Hi there,
      I bought a replacement for under the bonnet from USA company
      JAGUAR

      Worth looking at their site and video.

      You definately have to take the bonnet off to get good adhesion and of course
      use the correct adhesive spray withstand the temperature.
      There are two bonnet designs, if your car is 92-96 I have a spare NEW insulation
      minus kit and transfer I could sell you.
