Sunday 19th March – Coffee and a Chat – Overton, near Winchester at 11:00

I’ll be heading up from Goodwood on the Sunday 19th on our way back up to Manchester, and thought it might be an opportunity to say high to some members if we could arrange a stop somewhere along our way.

Our route will could be something like :- M3, M4, M25, M1 all the way up to M60

Would anyone be interested in meeting up for a morning coffee and a chat somewhere around Winchester maybe ?
Or
Meeting up for afternoon tea and cake somewhere off the M1 mid afternoon – Leicester/Derby area ?

Just an idea..

      I’m aiming to meet up around 11:00 Sunday morning somewhere around Winchester, with relative easy access from the M3 (for onward journey. Could anyone please recommend a venue, with suitable parking for a few Jags 🙂

      Venue has been found – we will be meeting at the White Hart Overton, which is near Winchester at 11:00 for coffee and biscuits/cake. Sunday lunch starts at 12:00 if anyone wants to stop (we might before we head off on the journey back up north).

      I’ve already had some members get in touch to say they’re coming – please do let me know if you can meet up with us all.

      Looking forward to this weekend, Saturday at Goodwood Members Day and then Sunday heading for Overton – hope the weather is dry….

      Successful first UK meeting of members of our XJS Soft Tops website, with 4 members and their cars attending the White Hart, Overton, Hampshire. Thanks for taking the time to venture out today.

      We all spent a convivial couple of hours chatting over coffee and biscuits about our cars and various places we’ve been with them, along with various opportunities to meet up again in the future. Turns out that Christina and myself meet Chris at the Weald and Downland Museum a couple of years ago, and Chris had seen our car at the Dunsford Wings and Wheels event last year but didn’t see us.

      I was able to pass on to Trevor, Kim and Chris their site Window Sticker which I’ll make available generally to members shortly

       

       

       

       

      Time now to plan the next meet up 🙂
