Our Club’s Discussion Forums

Our Club’s Discussion Forums have been completely overhauled and revamped – I do hope you all like what I’ve done with them.

You may recall that we had a data lost/corruption last year, thanks to the company that hosts our Club Website, and that resulting the lost of many many Topics and their Replies – comes of having the back-ups with the same company that host the site (lesson learnt). This will go some way to explain why it appears we haven’t had anyone wanting to ask a technical question or anything else – it’s not true we just lost those.

Please, do get back into the habit of using the discussion forums to keep in touch with fellow Cabriolet and Convertibles around the world..

Cheers

Laurence

Thanks for updating me on the club and its activities. I must say that I love my xjsc I have owned this baby which is now sitting in my basement nice and warm and dry. It has its resting place since 1996 when i purchased. It has approximately 25000 miles on it. Twice, it was laid up for over 9 months at the dealers, once with a real seal leak. The second, at a mechanics, because it wouldn’t start. They couldnt find the problem until another mechanic found a starter coil that would test normal, until the starter key was turned. It then, dropped to zero. So, then it was replaced, and she is running great again. We also had to replace the starter motor, and the air conditioner compressor. I’ve updated the plumbing on the air conditioner, and it, for the first time since I purchasedthe car, it blows ice-cold. The second mechanic refuses to see my car again!!! Never -the -less, I love driving the car. Wish we had more soft tops in the States. I’d love to go to meetings here. Laurence, thanks for all the work you put into the club. I enjoy the reading about the activities.
