Meet up at the Old White Beare, Halifax – 4th March 2018

Well despite the dreadful weather we’ve had in recent days, it was clear enough for some folk to venture to the Old White Beare, near Halifax (just off the M62).

There were 9 of us sat down for Sunday Lunch, which was enjoyed by all. We were a few members down this visit, mainly due to the ice and snowy conditions I’d imagine – look forward to seeing Alan Tew and Michael Shelley at meet ups later in the year I hope.

Great company for a couple of hours – thanks to Nick Standley for trying to warm us all up by trying to recalibrate the radiator.

      Hi Laurence,

Sorry the weather and possible low attendance did put me off. Living in York you cannot get a feel what the weather could be like in West Yorkshire, as it is normally worse than where we are.  I must be getting soft in my old age.

See you later in the Year

      Alan
