The twin coils is not something I have replaced, so happy to explore that avenue.

I’ll buy the DAC 6093 Ducelier coil (should be here in a few days) and strip out the two existing coils.

I did think it was me, and the gap I’d set for the pickup when I replaced it, but seeing as I’ve adjusted this numerous times now statistics say I should have landed on an acceptable gap by now..
