The cars were the stars or the stars had the cars.
On Friday 30th October 2026, I was reading the sad news of the death of Sir Patrick Stewart, best known to many of us as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
What some people may not realise is that Sir Patrick was also a Jaguar enthusiast and the proud owner of an XJ-S Convertible.
It got me thinking about how many of our Cabriolets and Convertibles have found themselves in the company of famous people, or indeed have become stars in their own right through appearances in films and television.
So I decided to do a little digging.
