Very rare Australian delivered 1985 Jaguar XJ-SC TWR JaguarSport V12 with 5 speed manual gearbox. Other TWR upgrades include the large capacity TWR branded air intakes, special engine management settings, high efficiency stainless steel exhaust with twin tail pipes increasing power to 238 kW, upgraded suspension & steering as well as body kit which significantly reduces lift and drag , 8” x 16” Speedline alloy wheels, and TWR embossed steering wheel.
This car was first delivered in Nov 1985 to Ron Hodgson (of Ron Hodgson Motors in Sydney), as a standard V12 automatic XJ-SC. Ron ran it as his personal and demonstrator car for 6 months. It was then acquired by another NSW owner who had the car fitted out with the upgrade package developed by Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) and Jaguar Sport. The second owner enjoyed the car for the next 24 years before on-selling it to another NSW owner in 2010. It then came to a Melbourne Jaguar specialist dealer in 2017, and it has stayed in Victoria ever since.
