        Bit of trivia. Who was the first to own a XJS Soft top? Princess Diana with her BRG V12 Cabriolet or Lady Sarah Ferguson with her Black V12 Convertible? Both cars were ‘E’ registered but vehicle registration date alone doesn’t prove who got their order in first. The date of Manufacture can differ from the date of Registration too. We need to get the correct answer from the order date to settle this one. Anyone know?

          Here’s the answer Folks:-
          Diana’s Cabriolet was built 11th June 1987— Despatched 29th July 1987—Registered 21st Sept 1987.
          Sarah’s Convertible E600 NKV Vin 150787 08 / 06/ 1988

          Diana Cabriolet is Vin 142613 8,174 cars earlier……sorted

            Who drive their jaguar most themselves in, say, the first 3 years of ownership.

              That answer could be tricky unless Old MOT records can be accessible, good thought though….
