Thank you for the warm welcome to the Club. We came to hear about the Club from seeing an coming event advertised in the XJS Club magazine and being avid XJS owners we had to investigate further hence our application to join. The XJS, although unfairly maligned by the uninformed, to us is the classic Jaguar especially the convertible which is always a head turner both on the road and at shows, but then again we are extremely biased.

Our car is the classic Jaguar XJS V12 HE 5.3 litre convertible in Jaguar Racing Green with Magnolia coloured trim and chrome wire wheels to complete the picture.

Early research of the VIN shows that the car is a MY 1990 model destined for the Japanese market, later to be exported to Australia. At this stage we don’t know the import date to Australia.

Since it was purchased in 2006 it has won a number of awards at State Concours here in Tasmania and also at other car shows. The car is also used for weekend drives and there is nothing better on a nice fine day than wheeling it out and going “topless”…………………as they say.
