Good evening
After a long and fairly expensive period of mechanical improvement my lovely Jag is ready for its MOT. Well, apart from the tyres. It’s here that I could use some help please.
The car is very low mileage and is still wearing its original factory supplied 215/70 r15 Dunlop SP’s which are somewhat beyond their best!
I am keen to maintain the original look and characteristics of the car and wondered if anyone had any experience of the newly modernised Dunlop sport classics which look great but use modern compound? The other option I guess is to go to Longstone for a set of period Pirelli CN12’s.
I would welcome any views or experiences.
I am dithering because it’s a chunk of cash, about £1500 for 5… ouch!
