Welcome Paul @paulf42
Sorry for the delay approving your membership, I’ve been away for a couple of days without access to a computer.
Thank you for joining as a Convertible Member of the XJS Soft Tops Club, I hope you find your membership interesting – please feel free to participate in any new or past discussion topics.
You have two Membership Photo Albums, these can be found via the Main Menu ==> My Account ==> My Photos. It would be great if you could add a photo or two of your Cabriolet for all members to see.
Please reply to this topic and tell us how you discovered our Club and a little about your own XJS Convertible and your general enthusiasm and interest the XJS Soft Top models.

Hi Laurence, thank you for approving my membership. I happened to be mooching through the internet, typing ‘ XJS’ in and by chance came across this site. It certainly looks interesting and will give me plenty of reading to keep me going.
I have been ‘Jag’ nut since I was old enough to know what they were. My aunt used to have a series 1 xj6 in Heather. The reg was BUD50J. I used to love being in it. I myself had several of them when in my late teens, they could be had for peanuts.
I’ve had my current XJS convertible for about four years now. I also own a ‘79 pre he in white that has been converted to manual and has a 3:5:4 diff fitted. Neither of them are in show condition but they are good all round driver cars. To me, the best time is in summer when I can drive around in the ultimate pose mobile that jaguar made..

Hope you’ll be able to make one of the meetups that the Club hold around the country throughout the year – you’ll be most welcome,
Please try and make the Exlusively XJS Event at Jaguar Land Rover Classic on the 19th September with one or both of your XJS there (more the merrier).

I’ll see if I can make it. I could only bring one as I don’t have a trailer so it would be the one that looks best at that time.. (neither are in show condition but are presentable to a fashion)
