        Welcome Kees ,

I hope you find the site interesting, please feel free to participate in any new or past discussion topics.

If you could please reply to this topic and tell us a little about your XJS Convertible, and even something about your enthusiasm and interest in them.

You now have two Photo Albums created for you on this site, one for XJS Photos and one for just General Photos – it would be great if you could add a photo or two of your Convertible for all members to see.

        Laurence

I have for over 12 Years a Jaguar X300 Sovereign 4.0 of 1995 in the color Morocco Red Pearl with 320.00 km on the clock.
For years I have been looking for a nice XJS convertible but in Europe they became more and more expensive. Now I bought one in the USA, Florida. A XJS Convertible 4.0 celebration in the color turquoise. This is now en route to the Netherlands. When it has arrived I will post beautiful pictures.
I like the XJS by the length and low bodywork and the reliable AJ 16 engine.

            Hi Kees

You’re Celebration Convertible is a stunning colour – not seen one that like that.

The Celebration seats do look really good, especailly with thier embossed Jaguar on the headrest. I retro fitted them into my 94 XJS Coupe but didn’t get on with them, personally, as for my height the lower half of the headrest was pushing into my shoulder blade – I guess if I was a little shorter it would have been just right to rest my head on 🙂

How long will it take to get brought over to Holland ?

From pick up at the seller until loading on the boat takes about three weeks. The crossing by boat takes about two weeks and the handling of all documents and taxes takes about three weeks.
The color code is UDB. Some in UK and rare in the rest of Europe.

                  Hi Hectors

The coachlines along the tops of the wings and the bonnet bulge really set of the shape of your car.

                  Very nice

                  Laurence
