          HI Bob Flint

Looks like eBay have shut down that link already – it says is sold out.

Was it a supper condition car at a bargain price ?

I think this is an issue with buying a car off eBay.  I was looking at a Landrover Defender that was advertised on the South coast and later I found out in Ireland too. The vehicle was incredibly cheap for the year and the amount of extras that came with it.  No answer was given why the advert said it was based in England and at Ireland at the same time.  When I asked about viewing the vehicle a weird answer was given stating that ebay has taken the car over to complete the sale and have taken it away. At this point I reported it to ebay and after a short period it was taken offline. It just goes to show that that if it looks an incredible bargain you have to be careful about parting with any payment.

              Hi,

just viewed some ebay adverts that look dodgy. There is an XJS 5.3 V12 69k mileage for sale for £5400 by East midland cars centre Lutterworth. Also they have adverts for a 2007 XKR 4.2 supercharged £6.1K and a 2013 XFS 49k miles for £7.7k.  Their telephone number is slightly different from the Company website, and these cars cannot be seen on the official site. I am waiting for a reply from this Company about this adverts.

                Hi,

just found an ended advert for the XFS car that has the same reg that sold on eBay for £13499 on the 21st Jan so all these cars look iffy.

A company called East Midland cars centre Lutterworth confirmed to me today that they have had their website hacked and these Motors are not theirs. I have reported it to eBay.

I reported this site and it has now been taken offline. I think we all should be vigilant to stop potential Jaguar buyers falling for these scams.  I constantly look at XJS soft top prices to see if there is any trends to their value. Good quality low priced ones stand out a mile, so I look closer at the advert to see if there are any issues with the car.  It just shows you that scammers now see the value of these cars to include them in their dodgy deeds.
