        If you are Buckinghamshire way on the weekend of  15/16 September I highly recommend this event. All manner of very early vehicles can be watched in motion as they start the hill – totally untimed and non-competitive. There are grandstand view-points and a full range of family entertainment in the paddocks.

        My XJ-SC will be in the invitees’ paddock Sunday only, but too modern to qualify for a run up the hill, however I have got a hill run in my Daimler V8 on the Sunday and it may be parked in the Daimler and Lanchester Club area.           IT not being my forte, no idea why Kop Hill seems t have covered my message – in essence it says ‘will be there Sunday with my Softie!
