For those that feel they may wish to view a little scenery of the Isle of Man, there is a bit of a retro-film made over here called Mindhorn, even features and XJS! Other features seen are the Laxey Wheel and the Sea Terminal.

The Cabriolet (reg plate S33 TRO or S33 TKO)in the early part of Movie trailer (11 seconds in) looks red and not Burgundy as in the above picture, maybe two different cars were used in filming as the above burgundy car is seen at 2.00 minutes of the film trailer

The Reg # S 33 TRU has been on a TROOPER CITATION DT SWB since 2001 Nothing to indicate it was ever on one of our Cabriolet’s.

No round Bonnet badge, just the leaping Jaguar. Must narrow things down a bit as to whose car it is

Paul Roper mentioned this recently on Facebook, so I think I might try and watch it before we head over to the Isle of Man in May 2018.
I’m just putting the final touches to the Club Tour Newsletter which I’ll send out in the next couple of days 🙂

As this is now right around the corner, I have been in contact with Manx National Heritage to confirm a few details. We should be able to have a couple of very good picture venues of the cars lined up under the Laxey Wheeland at the Sound/ Cregneash – Cregneash being a rebuilt Traditional Manx Village.
