Hello, Firstly I have just joined this group having recently acquired a 1985 3.6 manual XJ-SC, so “Hello” again to all. My ‘Tickford’ number is stamped (albeit faintly) on the boot lid recess on the nearside. It can just about be made out and a torch, shone at an oblique angle, may help you to read it more clearly.
