I am writing this post at the end of a busy day, Tuesday 14th February, tired but at long last I am happy that the postal service (email) for this website is behaving itself.
Across the Christmas Holidays, 2016, as I beavered away building and developing this website for our Club I logged in and reset passwords dozens of times with several different email addresses and all seemed fine. I configured all the automated emails so that they were sent at the right time, for password resets and various welcome messages.
Then when the website was launched, I could see folk resetting their passwords and the system issuing confirmation emails but then the Club Member never logged in – turns out the emails were getting lost, to a number of member’s serious frustration.
